Che, per una commedia, non è necessariamente quello di informare o far sociologia più o meno indignata. Ma, molto più semplicemente, far ridere. E se non si ride quasi mai in Nati 2 volte non è certo per colpa di un setting "sbagliato": la storia del triangolo, lei/lui, lui e l'altra, sullo sfondo di una città di provincia, ha potenzialità da commedia degli equivoci classica. Ma il copione - molto scritto, troppo scritto, scritto distrattamente - non è all'altezza del contenuto, privando la narrazione di quella leggerezza che servirebbe a elevare una storia più vicina al dramma che allo scherzo. Mancano i tempi comici, manca una compattezza di tono, ora grottesco e macchiettistico (l'incursione seduttrice di Vittoria Schisano), ora realistico, ora sinceramente drammatico e quasi mai brillante, come se lo stesso film cercasse di sfuggire al proprio genere senza tuttavia trovare una nuova appartenenza. Ingenua la messa in scena, che non rende giustizia alla scelta della provincia - quasi assente il "colore" locale, che avrebbe contribuito a dare tridimensionalità a una Foligno da cartolina - perdendo anche nei dettagli ogni aderenza alla realtà, in un mondo in cui tutti, dagli impiegati del catasto agli avventori del bar, sfoggiano pieghe impeccabili e abiti perfetti.

The plot is fairly basic, a bunch of kids attending a space academy are involved in an accident and get stranded on a space vessel with no adults. However, they do a good job though at developing the story by showing all the ordeals and troubles that the kids go up against and more importantly how they affect each character's state of mind individually. A lot of drama and emotions are involved, there's a good fill of action, and even a nice touch of romance is brought into the mix. So overall, it's a pretty entertaining story read more
