Break out the tinsel and unwrap the ornaments because the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree in New York City is ready to be lit. The tree is a Christmastime staple in Manhattan, and this year's Norway spruce, standing 77 feet tall, will draw throngs of visitors throughout the holiday season. A star is already atop the spruce, and on Wednesday the official lighting will take place with a holiday spectacular at Rockefeller Plaza. Catching the tree lighting in person can be tough, as thousands of people line the sidewalks vying for a viewing spot. Thankfully for those who get hives at the thought of large crowds, NBC broadcasts the event live. NBC's national coverage will begin at 8 p. m. EST and can be viewed on the station's TV channel, online at NBC Live or through the mobile app. To access content online or via the mobile app, viewers will have to link to their TV provider by sharing their account username and password. Very early reviews for The Glass Castle have been mixed. As of writing this, the RT score stands at a 50%, which is obviously a very intriguing score. In the age of polarized opinion, it seems like everyone says movies either are amazing or they suck. It will be interesting to see which side of the spectrum this one lands on, but it doesn't look too good right now. It has been in production since 2012, and Jennifer Lawrence was slated to play the starring role before dropping out. If you're a fan of Woody Harrelson, or the 2005 memoir of the same name, this one may be worth checking out. The Trip to Spain Dir: Michael Winterbottom Starring: Steve Coogan, Rob Brydon Two guys embark on a trip to Spain (uhh ya think?? ) to sample restaurants, eateries, and sights along the way. The Trip to Spain could probably be considered a sequel to The Trip and The Trip to Italy, where Coogan and Brydon play themselves as two buddies on vacation. I totally understand this isn't going to be for everyone, but I thoroughly enjoy the series.

In June, 2013, it came out that the National Security Agency had a massive espionage network in place. Within a few days, the source of the information revealed himself. Edward Snowden was a computer professional who had been working first for the CIA, and then switched to the NSA. Before long, his conscience started bothering him, and so he downloaded evidence of the espionage network, flew to Hong Kong, and revealed it to journalists Glenn Greenwald and Ewen MacAskill, while director Laura Poitras filmed the interview. Without a doubt it was the biggest story of 2013. This story got told in Poitras's Oscar-winning documentary "Citizenfour". Oliver Stone's "Snowden" tells the story, but also looks at the years leading up to Snowden's employment by the NSA: his military service, his stationing in Geneva, and then Japan, and finally his employment with the NSA outlet in Hawaii. I don't know if I would go so far as to call this a masterpiece, but what's mind-blowing is the sheer scope of not just the espionage network, but everything else that it comprised.
