Two guys a girl and a pizza place streaming.com

With all the care and thought that went into character development, it would've been gratifying to see another season to further solidify the life transitions and maturations of each role. However, the writers did a fine job of carrying out the story lines in such a way that the viewer has a clear sense of the characters' defining traits and patterns after viewing the entire series. More than a decade has passed since "Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place" went off the air. The plots, character dynamics, and relationship intricacies explored are just as relevant today as they were when the show was being produced. It remains a fine example of intelligent writing, expert acting, and colorful directing. Reviewed in the United States on September 25, 2020 Verified Purchase Everything about this is priced less! The packaging is great, price is great and this show is a reminder of the 30 minute sitcom with talent, excellent writing and of course Ryan Reynolds, Richard Ruccolo AND Nathan Fillion!!!?

Originally known as "Two Guys a Girl and a Pizza Place, " this half hour comedy follows the friendship of Berg, Pete and Sharon, who met in college and live in the same building. While working their way through grad-school, Berg and Pete work in Beacon Street Pizza for their witty boss Bill and serve customers like the eccentric Mr. Bauer who tells everyone about great moments in his life, which are actually famous scenes from movies. The show also follows their love lives, Pete's girlfriend Melissa, a cast regular for the first season, and he later on develops feelings for Sharon. Sharon seems to have no luck with guys until she meets repair man Johnny, who despite their many fights and up and down relationship end up married. Berg flits from girl to girl until he meets Ashley, a fellow med-student and notorious ice queen who he dates for about a season. When they break up, he seeks solace in Irene, who lives across the hall, a petite, perky woman obssessed with cats and who stalks Pete.

Come on!!!? Jusssssss wish they'd have allowed for a proper "closure" to the series...... but that is the time it was. The end of 90210, Melrose Place etc....... BEYOND grateful this became available to own at such a good price! THANK YOU!!!! Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2017 Verified Purchase I didn't really watch it much when it was originally ran but watched it on WEtv and loved it glad its now on dvd as a complete series so I can watch from start to the best sitcoms from the early 2000s and thanks to Shout all the fans can relive the show again and again....... Top reviews from other countries 4. 0 out of 5 stars Great Retro Viewing! Reviewed in the United Kingdom on July 5, 2018 Verified Purchase I loved this show growing up, so glad it has got a DVD release. PROS: + The show is Great + Quality is very good + Ryan Reynolds CONS: - The Box holding the set is just awful, Stacked DVD discs are never a good idea - Out of order episode in Season 1, The US DVD set has it in the correct order but the UK set is out of order because they are in order of when they aired (and yes they originally aired out of order) Episode 8 the party should be episode 2 as Pete is still with Melissa here, Just bad continuity, Not a deal breaker though.

Reviewed in the United States on September 5, 2020 Verified Purchase Before Nathan Fillion was a pop culture icon and Ryan Reynolds was the biggest movie star on the planet (and they both played Green Lantern), there was this ABC sitcom, two guys and a girl. I loved every episode of this sitcom when it aired in the late 90s/early 2000s and it introduced me to Reynolds and Fillion, both of whom have gone on to play some great roles in television and film. This show was funny in a way I haven't experienced from a sitcom since and the cast had a great chemistry. There were also some great guest stars such as Robert Goulet, Bo Derek, Barenaked Ladies, blink-182, Nomar Garciaparra and Tiffani Thiessen, among others. It was four of my favorite seasons of funny TV and I highly recommend it. Reviewed in the United States on March 29, 2014 Verified Purchase Given its depth, respect for subtlety, and surprising twists and turns, it's no surprise that this late-1990s/early-200s sitcom remains relatively unsung.

It's essence does not lie in the sort of instantness or gimmickry that allowed lesser shows from the same time period such as "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch" or "Boy Meets World" to have longer runs. The evolution of "Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place" is perhaps its most remarkable characteristic. While the first two seasons emphasized the comedic aspects of the relationships between the characters, the third and fourth ones added notable grey areas and tensions to those relationships which gave the show a definite dramatic quotient—albeit, one that was never too overbearing. The evolution of the series is also especially redeeming because of the consistent, high-quality acting. Ryan Reynolds is indeed a pro at timing, reaction, and believability. Equally adept, and especially affecting in his emotive resonance, is Richard Ruccolo. Additionally, the unique stylings of Suzanne Cryer, Jillian Bach, Traylor Howard, and Nathan Fillion are all essential ingredients of the recipe. As with many high-caliber shows that were worthy of longer runs, the experience of watching the final season of "Two Guys and a Girl" (as it was called during seasons three and four) is bittersweet in retrospect.

You won't be diapointed. 5. 0 out of 5 stars Time for a Pie.... Reviewed in the United Kingdom on March 7, 2018 Verified Purchase Now this is a GOLD find...! The very young Ryan Reynolds and Nathan Fillion in a sitcom focused around a Pizza place.. There are other characters too. This is a funny show and the fact its available on DVD in this country (UK) is a damn miracle... Buy it you won't regret it. It went for 4 seasons and 81 episodes. Unforgotten gem that was on TV the same time as Friends and Will & Grace. 3. 0 out of 5 stars Not the best but not the worst. Reviewed in the United Kingdom on February 27, 2017 Verified Purchase It's ok.. quality's a bit shabby and some episodes are missing, Watched this religiously as a kid and was looking forward to one of the Halloween specials but it wasn't there. If you buy this, just don't expect too much and then you can't be let down. I am still glad i bought it as i will always own it and like to go back and watch it. I waited so long for this!

Reviewed in the United States on May 27, 2020 Verified Purchase I was so excited to get the DVD for this show. I loved it when it was on TV. The box set says it's captioned. ITS NOT! I was FURIOUS!!! Being deaf I rely on Close Caption. On this DVD its not captioning hardly at all. Only every 3rd person that talks gets caption and I miss out on the show overall. Reviewed in the United States on July 17, 2016 Verified Purchase I was starting to think this would never make it to DVD, but here it is! The good news: All of the episodes use their original opening credit scenes All of the original music is present, including the stuff by Blink 182 and The Barenaked Ladies The video quality is good, and the episodes aren't over compressed. The packaging isn't the kind where you have to remove discs to get to others. The bad: There are no extras at all. This set is absolutely worth the money for any fan of the show, and any future fans that find it through Ryan Reynold's career.
