The Roseanne revival earned terrific ratings for ABC in the 2017-18 television season. It stung them to cancel it in the wake of star Roseanne Barr's offensive Twitter behavior. Rather than let the whole Conner family (and that great big audience) go, the Alphabet Network has introduced The Conners TV show. Can the first season of this spin-off even come close to being the kind of Nielsen knockout the revival was, or has the audience already moved on?
